American Shannon Lee Gilmour is an emerging artist and designer, working primarily in post-consumer plastic.  Gilmour investigates the link between vanishing species, pollution, climate change, and the future through the re-use of man-made materials. Gilmour’s sculptural work inspires and awakens memories of connection and belonging in the natural world while increasing awareness of an ever-larger environmental urgency to move collectively toward transformative solutions to the existing paradigm surrounding man-made products.
